Maria Starzyk

De kunstenares is sinds 1995 verbonden aan de Artistieke Ambachtelijke Coöperatie "Artistic Ceramics and Pottery", en sinds 1997 is zij patroonontwerpster.

Mijn eerste patronen waren vaak willekeurige combinaties van geometrische en bloemmotieven. Na verloop van tijd, en naarmate ik meer ervaring opdeed, zijn ze verfijnder gestileerd. Het belangrijkste en terugkerende motief in mijn werk is een bloemenrand. De kleuren worden ingegeven door mijn verbeelding, en de rest is geïnspireerd door de schoonheid van de natuur.
