Maria Ciszewska

De kunstenares is sinds 1981 verbonden aan de Artistieke Ambachtscoöperatie "Artistic Ceramics and Pottery" en is sinds 1994 patroonontwerpster.

Twee elementen zijn voor mij inspiratie geworden: een cirkel en een stip. Dit zijn de oudste symbolen in de menselijke cultuur. Het was de uitvinding van het wiel die zo'n snelle vooruitgang in het verbeteren van het menselijke leven veroorzaakte. Aan de andere kant is een stip niet alleen een enkel merk of zijn dikte; het is de grootheid in de totaliteit en de totaliteit in de grootheid.

De combinatie van twee elementen: de cirkel en de stip, biedt veel mogelijkheden bij het creëren van verschillende patronen. Stippen die in elkaar overgaan van de kleinste tot de grootste – of stippen van dezelfde grootte, maken een interessant decoratief element. Aan de andere kant onderstrepen cirkels van dezelfde grootte, omkaderd door een smalle of brede kobaltstrip, de helderheid en schoonheid van de vorm. Deze opstelling heb ik nog niet uitgeput. Artistieke mogelijkheden inspireren mij voortdurend om nieuwe relaties en combinaties te tonen.
