Ewa Karbownik

De kunstenaar is sinds 1980 verbonden aan de Artistieke Ambachtelijke Coöperatie "Artistic Ceramics and Pottery", terwijl zij sinds 1994 patroonontwerper is.

Artistieke inspiratie komt voort uit de verbeelding. Het is een enorme kracht die mensen in zich hebben. Dankzij de verbeelding kunnen mensen hun gevoeligheid ontwikkelen en de schoonheid in de wereld zien. Alles wat je hoeft te doen, is je overgeven en het artistieke proces begint automatisch. Een ander belangrijk moment is het overbrengen van je verbeelde wereld naar een bepaald materiaal. Vaardigheden en ervaring zijn dan onmisbaar. Zowel de verbeelding als de techniek vereisen voortdurend zelfontplooiing.
