Barbara Makiela

De kunstenaar is sinds 1989 verbonden aan de Artistieke Ambachtelijke Coöperatie "Artistieke Keramiek en Aardewerk". Ze is patroonontwerper sinds 2002. Ik ben mijn hele leven omgeven door bossen, tuinen, weiden en velden. Ik kijk naar de natuur die in de zomer weer tot leven komt, haar bloei in de lente, de schilderachtige kleurigheid in de herfst, en haar kenmerkende witte jurk in de winter. Ik heb altijd graag bloemen en andere natuurdecoraties bekeken en geplukt om ze te gebruiken voor boeketten en kleurrijke composities. De natuur betovert me met haar schoonheid en diversiteit, terwijl de rijkdom van haar vormen en tinten me inspireert om patronen met plantmotieven te creëren.
