Maria Ciszewska

L'artiste est associée à la Coopérative d'Artisanat Artistique "Artistic Ceramics and Pottery" depuis 1981, et depuis 1994, elle est designer de motifs.

Deux éléments sont devenus une source d'inspiration pour moi : un cercle et un point. Ce sont les symboles les plus anciens de la culture humaine. C'est l'invention de la roue qui a entraîné une telle évolution rapide pour améliorer la vie humaine. D'autre part, un point n'est pas seulement une marque unique ou son épaisseur ; c'est la grandeur dans l'ensemble et l'ensemble dans la grandeur.

La combinaison de ces deux éléments : le cercle et le point, offre de nombreuses possibilités pour créer différents motifs. Des points qui se pénètrent les uns les autres, du plus petit au plus grand, ou des points de même taille, forment un élément décoratif intéressant. D'autre part, des cercles de même taille encadrés par une bande étroite ou large de cobalt permettent de souligner la clarté et la beauté de la forme. Je n'ai pas encore épuisé cette disposition. Les possibilités artistiques m'inspirent sans cesse à explorer de nouvelles relations et combinaisons.
