I was raised in the love of Polish literature and art history. In such an atmosphere, sensitivity to beauty and curiosity about the world develops. I am fond of both Impressionism with its evanescence of feelings and Art Nouveau with its restlessness and asymmetry. I believe that designing and searching for new, universal decorations for various pottery pieces is a commercial form of drawing from the heritage of Young Poland, a movement in Polish literature at the turn of the 20th century where the boundary between art and craft was blurred. What I find inspiring is the ability to work with color and the richness of decoration techniques to give everyday pottery beautiful and unique motifs that refer to tradition and original design ideas. Piece 2 is a magnificent Polish Pottery unique design. Three large blue flowers with darker leaves on a light background decorate the Polish Pottery tableware. The hand-painted flowers draw all attention. A wide swirled band outlines the flower arrangement in shades of blue.
